Senior Bible Study

Week One features Hagar and Sarah

Everyone of All Ages is Welcome

This 9-session Senior Bible Study is based on the “fresh and previously unheard” book (Dr. J. Alfred Smith, Professor of Allen Temple Baptist Church, Oakland, CA; President, Progressive National Baptist Convention USA) Just a Sister Away” by Renita J. Weems, “A Womanist Vision of Women’s Relationships in the Bible.”

“A milestone in women’s literature. It sheds light on the relationships of biblical women in new meaningful ways that connect women today across class, culture, race, and time. Renita Weems is one of the most important thinkers of our time.”-Susan Taylor, Editor-in-Chief, Essence Magazine
