Labor Day-With All Your Heart
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. (Colossians 3:23-24)
- Think about something you do or have done “with all your heart.” What does it
mean to do something “with all your heart?”
- Put a mark on the line to indicate how you approach your work. Then, explain why.
Without my heart___________________________________With all my heart
- Consider all the work God accomplished for you:
*Jesus came to earth to live a perfect life in your behalf.
*Jesus suffered and died to receive the punishment you deserved.
*Jesus rose from the dead, claiming victory for you over sin, death, and the power of the devil.
Put a mark on the line to indicate how Jesus approached His work on your behalf.
Explain the reason you placed the mark where you did.
Without His heart_______________________________With all His heart
- Complete the sentence. Jesus’ work on my behalf motivates me to “with all my heart.”
Lord Jesus, give us the joy that comes from knowing that, though we may not always live for You, You always live for us. Come, be with us as we work. Guide us. Make us wise so that we might always live in You. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
