Quilts Crafted with Love and Prayer

Quilts! Quilts!

Volunteers of “Quilts! Quilts!” are devoted to creating quilts for others to keep them wrapped in love and warmth throughout the winter. Our quilters are proud to announce their 17th year, hard at work. This year 144 colorful quilts were crafted for the Lakota Native Tribe of Pine Ridge Reservation, South Dakota. For the past two years quilts were donated in Northern Wisconsin to the Menominee Tribe and Chippewa Tribe of Bad River. Our beloved quilters have put so much time, love and care into each and every quilt. Please take a moment to view just a sample of these fantastically beautiful creations which were displayed on your Vernon church pews. Thank you Ladies!!! Thank you Donors!!! May God be with you.

Quilters meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 9am to3 pm, September through May. No need to know how to sew. Just pack a lunch and join the fun. We’ll show you what needs to be done. Come when you can, leave when you must. Don’t have time? How about a donation such as yarn, sewing supplies (thread, needles, etc.) material of any kind (mattress pads, sheets, blankets, pillow cases, curtains, etc.). Hope to see you soon.
